Im originally from South Carolina (St. Philips in Charleston) and received a B.A. in history from Davidson College. After college, I moved to Washington, D.C., worked in book publishing, and did graduate studies in Film & Video at The American University. I worked about 12 years in video production in the D.C. area, for various small production companies that specialized in training, P.R., and corporate videos, and for C-SPAN in the early nineties. My husband and I moved to southern California in 1994 and since then Ive been doing freelance technical writing for different San Diego tech companies, working from home. Im a parishioner at St. Michaels by-the-Sea in Carlsbad, north of San Diego.
