This was a most interesting interfiew. I regret that I lost volume for Parts 9,10, 11, and 12, so was unable to hear the last part of the interview. Nonetheless, what I was able to hear was very interesting and very informative. These are good interviews!

How can the Bishop call on an ancient practice on the one hand and completely disregard the ancient practice of bishops following scripture as their final authority on the other hand?

A possible answer to Rev'd Malone's question is that it has nothing to do with following scripture, it has rather to do with power, money and blind and unquestioning loyalty to the firm. This is precisely where the rubber meets the road.
