Next showing Wednesday Night

Sadly there is just enough internet infrastructure here to get the stream up. When I did find and internet cafe with broadband they were closing in ten minutes.

So, set you clocks. At 9pm est Wednesday I will be broadcasting the consecration of Bishop Guernsey. Witness 10 thousand people welcome and American Bishop. Plus the additional 200 pictures I took.

Tregonsee's Gravatar Kevin,

It is amazing how important communications really are. About 15 yeas ago, I talked with someone who was involved with providing communications to truly isolated missionaries in Africa and South America. It included a new, to them, digital mail system to use with HF radios. Perhaps 300 baud. However, this replaced the previous system, usually runners or a boat which monthly took mail to the nearest post office. (As he remarked, the presence of lions at times sped up the delivery remarkably, and at times stopped it completely.) In one case, he recounted one of the missionaries literally had tears in his eyes when a reply came back from their headquarters the next day, instead of 6-8 months, if at all.

So count your blessings, even at 28.8K. :) ! Our profound thanks for your work on bringing this to us.
