Grandmother's Gravatar Wonderful interview Kevin.. Bishop Duncan never ceases to amaze. What a blessing he is, and you too.

This is a great summation, and explanation of what has happened, and what will happen.

Thanks so much for your ministry..
Blessings,
Grannie G

Jill C.'s Gravatar A hope and a future, pt. 2! I feel that I have a better understanding of what's going on after listening to Bishop Duncan. Thanks again, Kevin. (Audio was fine except for a couple places where it sounded like water running.)

Allan Bourdius's Gravatar Kevin, as always, thank you for your dedication to this ministry!

I am so thankful that my family and I are under the jurisdiction of this wonderful Bishop and defender of the Faith.
I can't wait until he makes his visitation to our parish next week; this week, we will have +Harvey from ANiC with us.

One little complaint though: why is it that an interview conducted in Pittsburgh has imagery of New Orleans and the Superdome
in its intro instead of something from the Steel City? ;-)

Hope you got yourself a Primanti's sandwich while you were here. If not, I'll buy you one the next time you're in town!

Kevin Kallsen's Gravatar Opps on the picture. I will change it when I get home tomorrow. I haven't been home since before the HOB, so I think my concentration was a little off today. My oldest daughter turns 14 tomorrow.

Douglas LeBlanc's Gravatar It's always a pleasure to watch Kevin and Bishop Duncan in conversation, as the bishop is so clearly at ease with Kevin. I think this marks the first time I've ever seen Kevin wearing a tie in an interview (not that I have any standing to make an issue of it). Kevin, was this because you were in the William Penn Hotel?

Kevin R.'s Gravatar I really appreciate the reality framed in hope. Sometimes, I feel that ACN bishops have spent too long inside TEC and spin too much creating a fake 'hope.' In this interview, while focusing on the positives +Duncan also confessed the struggles and weaknesses. While talking up the Common Cause Partnership he minimized the timeline.

On some blogs there seems a push for local control and fear of the color purple. Granted these are not without good reasons. I'm thinking about the formation of the United States of America. At first it was a confederation, deeply flawed, but maybe a very necessary step after a justified fear of too strong of a central government. While that too only a little more than a decade, I do hope it's less time and with out blood shed to change the identity as Shelby Foote described as from United State "are" to the "is" in the singular. By Grace of God we will be so unified that in ten years Common Cause can go through developmental changes from partnership to "are" to an "is" while members remaining as uniquely wonderful as the areas of this land.

Judith L's Gravatar Thank you, Kevin. We all need to remember to pray for Bishop Duncan every day. How that man has kept going through the past four years can only be by the Grace of God.

Kevin Kallsen's Gravatar Doug LeBlanc,

I wanted to see if viewers were paying attention. Sometimes I dress up -- It is very difficult to run around filming in my jeans and vest -- then switch to nicer clothes for interviews. There was a four hour break between my morning filming and my evening interview Bishop Duncan.

Mom's Gravatar Yes, I noticed the tie and shirt, too and wondered how you had time to get a tie "tied"! Hope you made it home in time to share in birthday cake with the 14 yr. old--our granddaughter and her gift is "in the mail". As always, your video presentations are very interesting and thought-provoking!

BettyLee Payne's Gravatar Kevin, Thank you for being the good and faithful servant of Christ that you have been through the AnglicanTV ministry. Enjoy the rest you deserve after a job well done!

Judith L has reminded us of the most important thing we can do and that is to stay in prayer for Bishop Duncan, for his heath, his strength, his rest and his steadfastness in taking up the annointed leadership that God has given to him. Pray for his protection from all evil and all harm. Praise be to Almighty God and to Our Lord Jesus Christ for his leadership and the heart of faith which drives that leadership. Also remember to pray for his wife Nara and their family. May God give His angels charge over them.
