Mbarara Road Trip

Taped on road between Entebbe and Mbarara Uganda

Jill C.'s Gravatar Wow! I'm glad it was you and not me riding along on those roads. How often did they stop for petrol and potty breaks?
While the Ugandan road scenes were interesting, I confess I was even more interested in the little snippets of conversation in the vehicle. ;)
Thanks again, Kevin.

Connie Sandlin's Gravatar Questions and impressions – “blogging” the video:

Who’s driving?

This reminded me of your “arriving in Tanzania” video but the impression I got of the infrastructure and people along the roadside was that it seemed a little less poor than Tanzania. (The road seemed slightly better, anyway, and the buildings on the sides looked a little less like thrown together shacks.)

Who are you talking to shortly after the start of the video?

Did you see any wildlife or wild areas, or was it pretty much all cultivated and at least a little bit developed? It looked like you went for a long stretch out in the open countryside.

Ooh, watch out for the potholes.

What were those guys doing that were hanging off the side of the truck on the roadside? (at about 11:00 minutes)?

A general question about your trip – with whom did you have the best conversation of the trip?

Thanks for posting this, Kevin.

Regards,
Connie
